Qur'an (Qur'an) (Quran in Swahili)

The Qur'an (in Arabic: القرآن) is a sacred book of Islam. The Qur'an is expected by Muslims as "the Word of Allah (Allah)". This book to them is quite different from the texts of other religious books in that it is believed to be written directly by Allah, through His last Prophet, Muhammad.

Language and translation

It has been written and read in Arabic only for over 1,400 years.

According to the Qur'an (42: 8), God told Muhammad: "And this way we have revealed the Qur'an to Arabic to warn the people of Mecca and those around him."

But, since today many Muslims in the world do not know Arabic, the true meaning of the Qur'an is given in other languages, thus leading readers to better understand what the Arabic words in the Qur'an mean. Such books are like a dictionary for the Qur'an - they do not read it as one of the Holy Quran and Muslims, to be instead of the Arabic Quran.

Many Muslims believe that the interpretation is not of the Holy Qur'an and not true; Only Arabic copies are presented in the true Qur'an.

Muslims believe that the Holy Qur'an Prophet Muhammad was given by the angel Jibrīl at the cave of Mount Hira, for more than twenty -three years until his death reached him.

The Holy Qur'an was not a book of Scripture during the life of the Prophet Muhammad; It was set for oral contact only. Bimaana, people kept in their head.

The Prophet was probably not illiterate, but according to the Muslims, his Companion Abu Bekr was writing the scriptures about something at the time the Prophet Muhammad is alive. When Abu Bekr became the Caliph, he brought the Qur'an and became a holy book.

Uthman, who is the third Caliph, has removed elements that were not related to the Holy Qur'an.

Elements, shape, lines, paragraphs

There are 30 parts in the Qur'an, which makes it 114 chapters. Each chapter has a different number of lines.

According to Islamic training, 86 of these chapters have dropped in Mecca, 24 of these have dropped in Medina.

Among the chapters brought down in Medina include al-Baqara, al Imran, al-Anfal, al-Ahzab, al-Ma'ida, An-Nisa, al-Mumtahina, Az-Zalzala, al-Hadid, Muhammad, Ar-Ra'd, Ar-Rahman, at-Talaq, al-Bayyina, al-Hashr, An-Nasr, An-Nasr, An-Nasr, An-Nasr, An-Nasr, An-Nasr, An-Nasr, An-Nasr, An-Nasr, An-Nasr, An-Nasr, An-Nasr, An-Nasr, An-Nasr, An-Nasr, An-Nasr, An-Nasr. Al-Hajj, Al-Munafiqun, Al-Mujadila, Al-Hujraat, At-Tahrim, At-Taghabun, Al-Jumua, As-Saff, Al-Fath, At-Tawba, Al-Insan.

Relationships between the Qur'an and the Bible

In the Holy Qu'ran, it is read that Jews and Christians also believe in the true God. These religions as well as Islam are called Abraham because of these relationships.

There are some Qu'ran pages that explain the issues of the people in the Bible. For example, the Bible people mentioned in Qu'ran include Adam, Noah, Abraham, Lot, Ismael, Jacob, Joseph, Aaron, Moses, King David, Solomon, Elisha, Jonah, Job, Zacharias, John the Baptist, the Virgin Mary and Jesus.

However, there are some very important differences between Islam and the Bible version in explaining the same information. For example, the Holy Qu'ran explains that Jesus Christ is not the Son of God, as Christians believe; For Muslims, he was the only prophet, respected in the name of Isa bin Mary.

Islam teaches that this is happening because the original Bible texts have been lost and there are some people who have changed it. But outside of Qu'ran there is no proof of that teaching.
