“Salamtek” helps manage distractions from phone while driving
Salamtek is a solution developed by Qatar Mobility Innovations Center (QMIC) under the center’s Salamtek Initiative supporting Driver Anti-Distraction to enhance Road Safety. Salamtek is a driver assistive solution that helps in managing distractions from smart phones like phone calls, messages, alerts and more. The user can set the speed upon which the application will start blocking activities. The user will be allowed up to three VIP numbers and three applications that will still go through Salamtek’s blocking status.
